Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Christmas Card morning this morning with snow flurries and minus 4.5 temperature. In between, though, was clear sky and even Meadow Pipits flying north. Despite the cold temperature only the fringes of Dalbeath marsh LNR were frozen, but we'll see how long that lasts as the weather's supposed to stay pretty cold. Not long until the first Chiffchaffs and Sand Martins will be showing up. As well as Meadow Pipits there were also Goldfinches north in two places and at different times this morning.
