June gets off to a good start at Cullaloe with a single Crossbill chipping overhead. At Inverkeithing yesterday an Eider was being followed by 5 chicks. No other signs of recent juvenile emergence at Cullaloe but adults are gathering up food all over the place.
Also at Cullaloe this morning a Sparrowhawk cruising south over the reserve
That Crossbill once again puts Cullaloe slightly ahead of Hill of Beath. For now.
