Car at the "doctor's" this morning so cycling to work and a quick foray into NT1489 "Hill of Beath SE". No camera. A flock of c.200 Herring Gull feeding in the pasture held 4 LBB Gull and a couple of Mipits flitted along the fence posts. No sign of active migration, but then I was only there for 15 minutes. Both of the aforementioned species were added to the list for NT1489 though.
I'm thinking of adopting this route and cycling to work during the summer. Let's see how long that plan lasts.
